Combining tradition with modern fashion, TAPIS presents its first global collection. Featuring sweatshirt models with carpet pieces, this new collection celebrates “#WearTheCulture” proudly.
One of the unique pieces from the collection is the Hoodie Balıkesir Cicim, woven using the traditional Cicim technique on hand looms in the city of Balıkesir in 1966.
It features small embossed motifs resembling flowers due to its weaving with the Cicim technique.
With the “Hello World” collection, TAPIS invites everyone to explore the art and heritage of traditional carpets.
